Alan Woodland is currently Emeritus Professor in the School of Economics at UNSW Business School. He was previously Professor of Econometrics at the University of Sydney and Professor of Economics at the University of British Columbia, Canada. He completed his PhD at the University of New England in Australia. He previously held two ARC Australian Professorial Fellow awards. He is a Chief Investigator in the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research (CEPAR).
