Markus A. Hoellerer is Professor in Organisation and Management at UNSW Sydney Business School, currently also serving as Deputy Head of School (Research) in the School of Management and Governance, as well as Senior Research Fellow at WU Vienna, Austria. His scholarly work focuses on the study of shifting institutional arrangements, social change, collective action in crisis situations, novel forms of organization and governance, digital sustainability, as well as institutions as multimodal accomplishments. His research has been published in leading outlets such as Academy of Management Annals, Academy of Management Discoveries, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management Studies, Organisation Science, Organisation Studies, Public Administration, Strategic Organisation, and Urban Studies. He served as the President of the European Group for Organisational Studies (EGOS) between 2017 and 2020 and is currently Editor-in-Chief of Organisation Theory. Among other awards, he won the 2022 Joanne Martin Trailblazer Award of the Academy of Management OMT Division for his scholarly achievements.
